Collaborative Community Effort to Rapidly Assess the Damage Caused by the 2010 Haiti Earthquake

This video highlights how Chris Renschler and the Landscape-based Environmental System Analysis & Modeling (LESAM) Laboratory at UB collected and assessed data following the disaster. The video received a second place award in the 2012 "Geography Matters" Video Competition organized by the Association of American Geographers. It also won the 2011 Quake Summit Media Competition Video Award (Outreach) organized by the George E. Brown, Jr. Network for Earthquake Engineering Simulation (NEES) and MCEER. The video was entered by Renschler, representing the LESAM Lab and the UB Center for the Arts Video Production Group.
